Adelphi - Breath of Speyside 17y/o Single Malt - 63.3%ABV - 30ml

Matured exclusively in a refill Oloroso Hogshead with a good colour of bronze. On the nose we found cherries, chocolate, redcurrants and burnt orange peel. Old Fashioned?! Palate brings Terry’s Chocolate orange, orange bitters, almost rancio like, walnuts, herbal and mint linger on the finish. Breath of Speyside is often Glenfarclas or Macallan. This one has been described as a secret 'Highland' malt that is from Speyside so that alludes to Macallan.
