Glenfarclas 20y/o 2002 The Family Casks #3323 50.6%abv 15ml / 30ml

Sherry bomb! Another dark sherry driven whisky from Glenfarclas. Lots of sherry and spice, jam and preserved fruit. Gorgeous fruity nose, fair amount of oak and pepper on the finish. They bottled this just in time, it is balanced and hits the spot with a nice mouthfeel - if they matured it another year or two it would probably start to develop too much spice and a dry astringency.
