Surprising

Spices, mace, nutmeg, clove…malt, ointment, reminiscent of smoke or something burnt, herbal, not vanilla but burnt custard, perhaps? Something woody. I like it, I’d buy a bottle. Malt whisky with wood influences nothing like oak!
