Uncharted Whiskey is a young independent bottler from Scotland, founded in 2020 by Dana and Jack.

This outstanding single malt is the third and probably final release in the Rumors series. The whiskey comes from a popular distillery on the south coast of the island of Islay and matured for 14 years in a single bourbon hogshead until it was released in April 2023 to a total of 276 bottles at natural cask strength with 58.2% ABV. was filled.

Tasting notes

Aroma : Initially, rich and gentle sea smoke and smoky bacon rise from the glass. A little later, more delicate lemon and oak notes emerge.

Taste : Lemon oil coats the mouth and mixes beautifully with the smoke that has mellowed over the years. Fresh baking aromas accompany crisp scents. A touch of water brings fresh cracker pepper to life.

Finish : rich earthiness that strengthens over time. Long and smoky with hints of pepper and savory baking.
