Aberargie "Inaugural" 48.2%ABV 30ml

First release from Aberargie Distillery - already sold out in UK. Collectors have snapped up most of the bottles so its likely that half the bottles will be kept as collectors items. Its 9 years since they opened the distillery and they have waited until the whisky was matured sufficiently for an excellent first release with most of the casks matured for 7 - 8 years. The wait was worth it as this whisky has received glowing reviews. They have used a mix of Laureate and Golden Promise barley from their own farms around the distillery and really designed the flavour for a rich oily and creamy mouthfeel and distinct fruity distillery profile - apples, raisins and ginger. Easily one of the best debuts by a Scottish distillery.

"Aberargie Inaugural Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Our Inaugural release is a refined single malt scotch whisky, distilled from our farm grown Golden Promise and Laureate barley, matured in first-fill Bourbon and Sherry casks. A rich, layered whisky with notes of baked apple and golden pastry, balanced by succulent sultanas and prunes, and a lingering herbal finish.
Cask selection: 50% Bourbon Barrel and 50% Sherry Cask
Barley type: 48% Laureate Malt and 52% Golden Promise
