Aberlour A'bunadh Batch#71 61.5%ABV 30ml

In 1898 there was a big fire at Aberlour that completely destroyed the distillery. When they were rebuilding the still room they put a time capsule in the wall cavity with newspapers and bottles of Aberlour produced before the fire. When they were extending and renovating the distillery  in the 1970's - the work men found this time capsule and whisky - they builders drank most of the whisky but the distillery team managed to catch them drinking and saved a small amount and it was sent for analysis. They then set about trying to recreate this 'original' Aberlour whisky and named it A'bunadh - or original in Gaelic.
