This whisky was finished for 19 months in a first fill Oloroso cask - sweet jammy sherry and plum notes with dark chocolate and raisins with a bit of pepper and spice on the finish.

As Bold as Frankie.

This whisky is everything that Black Gate is known for. From the first sip it is an amazing burst of dark fruit and chocolate upfront developing into a peaty smoke and earthiness. The rich oily texture lingers, inviting you to come back again.
