For the last three years, Hop Nation have produced an amazing Imperial Stout beer - The Kalash - which has spent many months in Bakery Hill whisky barrels to produce a unique and rich flavour profile.

We have reclaimed a number of these barrels -freshly emptied of beer, and refilled with 6 year old Bakery Hill Classic whisky spirit. The whisky has then spent time finishing in the ex-stout barrel before decanting and bottling. 

In this 2022 vintage we have dialled up the intensity with a bold 58% abv, and have extended the maturation in stout barrels to two full years. With this finish added to the long prior maturation in american oak barrels, the spirit serves up a kaleidoscopic sensation of wonderfully dense and rich whisky. 

With only one barrel (approx 250 bottles) available, snap up your piece of history as it won't be around again for a number of years.
