Ben Nevis 11y/o 2013 'From The Barrel' TWL Rewards Exclusive Decadent Drams 53.3%ABV 30ml

A Ben Nevis bottled exclusively for the Whisky List Rewards members. A refill sherry cask was reracked into two quarter casks - the first quarter cask was bottled last year as a Whisky Sponge - Australian Icons Elysian Bar 'Kitty Kong' with Yao's cat Anchovy on the label. This bottle has had an extra year in a refill quarter Bourbon cask that previously held the Whisky List Deanston 12 year old.

This whisky is called 'From the Barrel' which is clearly a reference to Nikka from the Barrel which is a Blended Whisky made in Japan but uses single malt and grain whisky from Ben Nevis in Scotland which is owned by Nikka / Asahi the Japanese brewing and distilling giant.
