Bunnahabhain 12y/o Cask Strength 2025 Edition 56.4%ABV 30ml

Bunnahabhain 12y/o is a classic dram and this annual limited release is similar with the volume turned up. "A rich and fruity Islay single malt matured in ex-sherry casks. Aromas of golden raisins, apricots, oak spice and light floral notes, followed by notes of soft oak, malty sweetness and gentle spice that linger in the finish". 

This batch is a little feisty and the alcohol is less well integrated than some earlier batches but you can add a drop of water to calm it down. There is a bit of a debate about which has been the best release and overall the 2022 release appears to be the most highly rated. However, this years release is the most contentious as some people rate it as the worst and others rate it as the best. In other words its a great one to get as a sample as divisive drams are always the most interesting even if you don't like them.
