DeVans Gianchand Single Malt Indian Whisky 42.8%ABV 30ml

Dewan Gian Chand was the 'Godfather' of Indian Beer through the brewery he founded in 1961 until he died in 1982 and he was the first to make small batch craft beer for the Delhi Market. Today DeVans is run by Gian Chands son and is the major beer producer in many states of India and also makes high end premium small batch craft beers. Now Dewans Son is making whisky named after his father and has released a range of top end whiskies. This is the entry level core range bottling in their line-up and the only one currently available in India. Recently 'Manshaa' a Peated Indian Whisky from Gianchand won International Whisky of the Year and Adambaraa American Bourbon Cask won Best Indian Single Malt. The award winning Manshaa and Adambaraa are not yet available in Australia.

Tasting Notes - Sweet apricot and peach, salted vanilla fudge. a hint of smoke and spice on the finish.
