Sixth and final release in the 'Tale of Series'

Official Notes:

Created by Director of Whisky Creation Dr. Bill Lumsden and Master Blender Gillian Macdonald, this expression is the sixth release in Glenmorangie's annual "A Tale Of" series. 

For the first time, the distillery finished bourbon-aged single malt in four distinct cask types:

Moroccan red wine casks (crafted from French oak) for sweet, mouth-watering spice layers.
New charred oak casks to add depth and an extra spicy dimension.
Shaved, toasted red wine (STR) casks to offer fruity nuances.
Pedro Ximénez (PX) sherry casks to introduce rich, sweet depth.

Tasting Notes

Aroma (Nose): Perfumed and sweet, featuring floral notes of rose, jasmine, lilac, and carnation mixed with exotic spices like cumin, saffron, nutmeg, ginger, chili, and anise, alongside gentle sweet oak, chestnut, and a touch of menthol.

Taste (Palate): A bold, sizzling burst of ginger, black pepper, and mustard seed balanced by mint toffee, demerara sugar, and sugar-coated almonds, all lifted by a distinct eucalyptus note.

Finish: Long and warming with lingering notes of clove, leather, and fresh peppermint.
