A peated Loch Lomond from Uncharted Whisky a great new independent bottler currently making a splash with some epic releases. There are two Inchfads from Uncharted which are fun to drink side by side.

This subtle, smokey and sweet dram was drawn from an ex-bourbon barrel, is offered to you free from colouring or chill-filtration. You Take The High Road , has been bottled the way the highlanders would have drank it- Cask strength. After 14 years of maturation, the natural ABV of this cask is 56.2%. One of only 210 bottles.

Official Tasting Notes

Nose

A delicate and complex infusions of aromas including with florals, powdered sugar, peanut butter, spice, and a rich and deep peat.

Palate

Bold nuttiness, rich spice and smoldering smoke coat the palate. Sweetness and peat remain as the nutiness and spice begin to mellow reminiscent of icing sugar and baking.

Finish
A fragrant citrus, lemon drizzle cake and muscavado sugar meander around the mouth infused with the rich smoke and complex, leathery spices.
