Floc Shots is a whisky released exclusively for the Whisky List.

When whisky is diluted with water to bring the abv down some fats and oils are released causing the whisky to appear cloudy - a settling process called 'flocculation' takes place and these compounds settle at the bottom of the vats. On a tour of the distillery members of the  Whisky List team tried what Overeem called their 'FLOC SHOTS' a cloudy, viscous, oily, creamy, full of texture and flavour. This was often discarded but the whisky list team were blown away by this drinking experience - it wasn't pretty but it was tasty and fun and each year they have released an eagerly anticipated 'Floc Shots' release.
