Royal Brackla 12y/o Oloroso Sherry Cask Finish 46%ABV 30ml

New branding, fancier whisky matured in Oloroso casks. The old Royal Brackla bottle was a tall bottle with a really heavy chunky amount of glass at the base - felt like a well balanced baseball bat and was the bottle of choice if you ever needed to defend your whisky collection. This new bottle is still tall but less of a weapon.  The whisky is better and should be more popular. This new range launched in 2020 upped the abv from 40% to 46% and turned up the sherry notes with a Oloroso cask finish - sweet fruit cake and caramelised nuts.
