Springbank 10y/o Fino Cask Matured 55%ABV 30ml

The penultimate edition of the Sherry Series, with just the 10 Year Old Manzanilla left to be released. This was matured for ten years -  four years in bourbon casks followed by six years in Fino (dry) sherry casks. Distilled in 2015, 11,400 bottles were released. Many are sitting on shelves as people are hoarding them to complete the set of 5. 

Official Tasting Notes:

 Nose: Dark chocolate, cocoa, sherry, leather, a bit of smoke, minerality, honey and overripe red fruits.

Palate: Lightly peaty, nectar, crème brûlée, dried mango, sweet cream, chocolate-covered cherries, slightly salty, with a little red pepper.

Finish:  Long-lasting nectar, sweet orange, creamy popcorn, roasted malt, minerals and a bit of spiciness.
