The Lakes: The Chocolatier Limited Edition has already taken out Gold at the latest World Whiskies Awards. Driven by European and American oak Sherry casks, Lakes’ distinct process of layering flavour through élevage (a fancy process where you move whiskies between different casks regularly while they’re maturing) weaves a tapestry of decadence without it ever being cloying.

Perfected at 51% ABV, this single malt is an indulgent feast of spiced hot chocolate, with white peach, milk chocolate-coated sultanas and brandy snaps. All that chocolate-y goodness is kept intact thanks to no chill filtration or added colour in the bottling.
