Wardhead 26y/o (Glenfiddich) Refill Hogshead#73 Spheric Spirits 53.9%ABV 15ml / 30ml

Wardhead traditionally refers to Glenfiddich teaspooned with some whisky from Balvenie next door. This was done so the whisky would be used in blends and could not be marketed as Glenfiddich single malt. These days I hear its quite unlikely that anybody actually adds a teaspoon of Balvenie to make Wardhead or adds a teaspoon of Glenfiddich to Balvenie to make Burnside. I'm not a fan of Glenfiddich and this is probably the best one I have ever tasted by quite a margin - complex,  fruity and delicious. They should let them use the name on this one because if Glenfiddich made more whisky that tastes this good at cask strength after 26 years then I'd be a big fan.
