Wild River Elevation Batch 5 Peated Bourbon Cask 45.2%ABV 30ml

A single malt whisky from Wild River Mountain Distillery in Queensland.

Batch 5 of the Elevation Single Malt was aged exclusively in small 50l re-coopered Early Times Bourbon barrel. 

With a Mash bill of Australian and peated barley combined with rainwater and fermented with a combination of bakers and ale yeast this is definitely a whisky for the peat fans.

Nose-

Fresh fruity aromas, cherry, dark chocolate and apricot.

Palate-

First impressions as you sip on the whisky the Apricot continues with the smokiness from the peat and a lingering sweetness dances on your palate with hints of spice creating a decadent whisky to be savoured at every sip
