Ardbeg Eureka Committee 25th Anniversary Bottling 52.2%ABV 30ml

 Ardbeg continues to alienate its fans these days. They produced a relatively small amount of this collectible anniversary whisky so many, including Horny Pony can't get bottles easily and have to get gouged on the secondary market to secure a bottle. 

Official Tasting notes - An explosion of sweet flavours like nut toffee brittle, raisin fudge and dark fruits (fig, damson and plump cherries) is balanced with a rockpool salinity or salted crispy seaweed. Dark chocolate coated raisins lead into chicory and sweet cinnamon spices alongside a curious drying sensation. The smoke builds up to a crescendo of sweet applewood and a medicinal iodine, burnt moss and ash.
