Bowmore 25y/o 1997 PX Sherry Hogshead #2689 Infrequent Flyers 47.1%ABV 15ml/30ml

Not a big fan of the independent bottler Infrequent Flyers - often way too much cask influence but they seem to handle Bowmore pretty well. Not a big fan of modern Bowmore either with some massive exceptions from Indie Bottlers (Hidden Spirits, Samaroli, Nectar and LMDW Artist in particular). 

Sweet lord they got this one right though. Sweet, oily, syrupy luxurious mouthfeel coating the mouth with barbecued tropical fruits and berry jams - light smoky peat - herbs and ginger - some nice floral notes but not the parma violet or soapy 'French whore perfume' that can be overpowering in some Bowmore.
