Bunnahabhain 18y/o - Chorlton Whisky - 53.4% - 30ml

This classic Islay make has been matured for 18 years in a sherry butt, and is a great example of the distillery style. The nose starts with sea air and waxed mandarins, before developing in a richer direction with brioche, praline and chocolate-covered raisins. The palate has a clean, crisp fruitiness to it that again develops towards deeper notes of toasted nuts, chocolate, butterscotch and orange marmalade. Just a touch of smoke in here too. One of only 322 bottles worldwide.
