Bottled in 2021, they didn't wait another month until it was 29 years old - they didn't need to - another great sherried dram from Glenfarclas' Family Casks.
Made comments in the past that Glenfarclas is overrated and people said I need to try the Family Casks to truely know how good Glenfarclas is. After trying this I still think Glenfarclas is overrated. I would have been devastated if I had purchased a full bottle of this. Let it sit for 30 mins and still not impressive, slowly getting better after 45 minutes. I don't think Glenfarclas do Sherry as well as others. Perhaps I'm just picking the wrong expressions of theirs. I still stand by my opinion that Glenfarclas is typically cheaper for a reason...
5 stars for Horny Pony allowing me to try before I buy

A Birthday Party in my Mouth
A special year for me, cracked on my 30th Birthday, now just need to find a full bottle! Really appreciate the chance to taste this kind of thing before spending time hunting it down. Freshly ground coffee, marzipan and a little brioche on the nose, followed by all manner of savoury sherry notes. Cheers!
Heard for a while how good Littlemill’s can be. This SMWS 30yo certainly did not disappoint, the nose on this dram was amazing.
It was a flavour packed palete, that certainly stood out as such a fine whisky.
Thanks again Horny Pony for providing some banging drams, with a great service throughout
An absolutely amazing whisky, this Imperial 24yo was flavour heaven. Could see from the second it was poured into the Glencairn that it was something special.
Also the service provided by Horny Pony was brilliant, well recommended for anyone looking for trying some special whiskies.
Just wow. Gets better and better after about an hour, sweet, salty, dry finish and legs that take about a week to run down the glass. Mastery in a glass. Thank you HP for making it possible for me to try this dram.
