Limited Edition Powers John's Lane 12 year old Irish Single Pot still whisky at cask strength distilled and matured at Midleton Distillery in County Cork. The original Powers John’s Lane Distillery in Dublin was renowned for its Pot Still Irish whiskeys, bursting with flavour and character. Using a Pot Still distillate which is true to the original style of John’s Lane, the whiskey has been matured for at least 12 years, mainly in first fill American bourbon casks with a small contribution of distillate which has been matured in Oloroso sherry butts. The Cask Strength expression gives a glimpse of John’s lane in its natural, full flavoured taste.

Tasting Notes

Nose

Woodland aromas and dried tobacco along with treacle toffee, black peppercorns and dried herbs.

Taste

Rich pot still spice with vanilla, manuka honey and dried apricot.

Finish

Toasted oak wrapped with honey sweetness.
