Dirty, funky, peaty single cask highland malt. Quite divisive reviews on this from super high scores to quite low ones - its a love or hate kind of malt. Undisclosed distillery - could be Ben Nevis but usually Ben Nevis allows indie bottlers to name the distillery - please review and give your opinion on what distillery it is. Chapter 7 is an award winning independent bottler from Switzerland with literary references on its bottles - Chapter 7 the name is a reference to Shakespeares play 'As you Like it'. Monologue on the label means it's a single cask.
In classic Australian style, this whisky has absolutely rippled flavour out of its cask. However, while I was expecting spiky youth in the spirit and the abv, it drinks with a maturity and ease that belies these facts. I have since bought two bottles.
