Uncharted is a relatively new independent bottler from Scotland - one of my new favourites and they seem well connected as some of their casks are phenomenal. Their Rumours bottlings are fun as they do not name the distillery but they leak clues on their website and social media every week. This is the first ever batch of the Rumours series - all have been unnamed Islay malts so far. I couldn't crack the riddles myself but others are better at riddles and references than me. Here's the second clue - 'Sisters three, this one has wet feet...' the 3 sisters are Ardbeg, Lagavulin and Laphroaig - they are all right on the coast and have 'wet feet' so I'm not sure how people got Ardbeg from that particular clue - look up the clues yourselves and see if you can crack the riddles and rumours.
Not easy to find a tropical and citrus single cask Ardbeg these days.

My first tasting of the Horny Pony collection and I'm glad to start with an Ardbeg.
On the nose, a classic Ardbeg, but has a more mellow peat and smoke with a lingering citrus smell.
The taste is the usual Ardbeg peat with a spicy note.
The finish is the classic Ardbeg oily taste with a lingering mellow smoke and peat.
Overall a great dram.
