The Cardrona The Falcon New Zealand Single Malt Whisky 52.0%ABV 30ml

The first Cardrona to come in a 700ml bottle - most of the earlier bottles were in 375ml bottles and given names like 'Growing Wings' hinting they were 'works in progress'. With this edition and the Full Flight Solera, the Cardrona is making a statement that this whisky is ready and what they set out to make. They are aiming to set a benchmark for N.Z. Whisky and their range is double the price of Thomson, Pokeno and Scapegrace so expectations are high.
