From SMWS website "The aroma was simply breathtaking: church incense, rose blossoms, orange oil, dried heather, bergamot, nutmeg - you could go on forever. The undiluted taste was just as exciting: walnuts roasted with cocoa, cayenne and espresso and star fruit paste with tropical fruits. After the careful addition of water at first the scent of fresh herbs like thyme and fennel, soon followed by vanilla, coconut, rum and raisins. On the palate now like an orange chocolate truffle: rich, creamy, dark chocolate enriched with pure orange oil and crunchy pistachios.After four years in a First-Fill bourbon barrel, this whisky was transferred to a first fill barrel in which Rye whisky had previously been matured."
