Craft Works Distillery ‘I AM TOO’ Single Malt Whisky - 55.1%ABV - 30ml

The second single malt from Craftworks Distillery in Capertee NSW. Crafty is doing all sorts of fun and interesting stuff up at Capertee including a spirit made from mead. Early releases and their indy bottlings like Black Soul Beast were not for the faint hearted - charismatic malts but a little unbalanced and rough around the edges - the latest releases are far more refined and elegant - even the name of the malt is a Cartesian philosophical reference. Expecting more original and refined malts in the future. Crafty has humbly referred to himself as an apprentice craftsman over the years. I wasn't convinced at the start but at this rate of progression - I think he can start calling himself a master distiller.

Mash Bill – Base & roasted malts
• Casks – 3 PX old wood sherry: 1 YN Oak Super-cask & part PvG Vintage Port cask.
• Char – Combination of wet & heavy char casks
• Cask size – 220ltr & 100ltr
