Dailuaine 12 year old Adelphi Laudale Batch 3 46% - 30ml

Amazing rich colour - this is a sherried malt that is incredibly well balanced and in some ways lacks complexity as it is so flawless. Sweet fudge, treacle, shortbread, orange, raisins. 12 years maturation in first fill sherry casks - Dailuaine is a meaty robust distillate that can handle the very active sherry casks. Other lighter distillates would have been overwhelmed by the sherry influence of these casks within a year but this works very well and at 46% it is too easy to drink.
