Longrow Red 15y/o Pinot Noir 51.4%ABV 30ml

2022 edition of Longrow Red and the oldest age statement yet from the series. This whisky has been matured for eleven years in bourbon barrels followed by four years in fresh Pinot Noir barriques. The wine casks come from Grant Taylor’s Valli vineyards in New Zealand.

* Sorry for the high price. The current Springbank insanity means acquiring bottles is a competitive sport and this bottle can usually only be found for highly inflated crazy prices at auctions. I paid too much for this bottle but I have bought a Longrow Red every year for a decade as I am a dumb creature of habit and a frustrated Springbank fan. Unsure when or if an allocation will arrive in Australia or reach retail. If it does, you will have to be quicker than a flipper.
